Emergency Stop Practice

  1. Name it: "I'm at my limit"
  2. Remove yourself: Step into another room, even the bathroom
  3. Ground yourself: Place both feet flat on the floor
  4. Place one hand on your heart: Feel it beating
  5. Say quietly: "I am here. I am breathing. This will pass."
